The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly arrested Nnamdi Kanu, the acclaimed leader of Radio Biafra, popularly called ‘Director’, according to a statement.
Kanu, who is also acclaimed to be the Director of Biafra Television and the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was said to have been arrested in Lagos, yesterday.

marathon broadcast on the pirate radio, alleged that Kanu was arrested in Lagos by the security operatives, as he flew into Nigeria from his base in the UK.
Mr. Kanu, who is based in UK, started his call for Biafra by setting up Indigenious People of Biafra (IPOB).
Radio Biafra has been spreading hate messages about Nigeria and cursing President Muhammadu Buhari ever since he won the election.
It attacks and ridicules President Muhammadu Buhari and other government officials.
They feel they have been discriminated against by those in power in Abuja and demand independence.
A statement posted by Radio Biafra on Facebook confirmed the arrest.
