Air Nigeria pilots, engineers end strike

Air Nigeria on Thursday said its aircraft engineers and pilots under the umbrella of the Nigerian Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineer had suspended their strike.
A statement by its Media Relations Manager, Samuel Ogbogoro , the air flight company said it regretted
the inconveniences the strike might have caused its passengers.
Ogbogoro said in the statement that Air Nigeria would “shortly recommence normal flight operations across its domestic and regional routes.”
He added that the company had been operating “in strict compliance with safety regulations and has at no time compromised on standards”
He said, “Air Nigeria has an established safety record as it has consistently adhered to world class safety standards as evident in its registration for the third time in a row on the registry of the IATA Operational Safety Audit Programme.”
