Student 'Adegoke Kehinde' arrested for Druging and raping a Female student on Campus

A 24-year-old student of Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Adegoke Kehinde, has been charged to court for allegedly drugging and raping a female student on campus.
The victim, whose
names have been withheld, was reportedly lured into a secluded spot in the school at about 10 p.m and was raped after being offered a drugged drink which she drank unknowingly.
The victim gained consciousness the next morning to discover that she had been raped and went to report the incident to the Sabo, Yaba Division of Police.
Kehinde was arrested and charged to the Yaba Magistrate’s court ona two-count charge under Sections 237 and 266 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.
However, the defendant pleaded not guilty to the allegations. He was granted bail by the presiding Magistrate, S. K. Matepo with the sum of N100 000 and two sureties in like sum.
Meanwhile, Kehinde has remained remanded in police custody at Ikoyi, as he has not been able to meet the bail conditions.
