Man arraigned for snatching BlackBerry

For allegedly snatching a BlackBerry phone while riding a motorcycle has landed a 25-year-old man, a.k.a Ismaila Ibrahim, before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court, Lagos.
According to police, Ibrahim who partnered with
an accomplice now at large snatched the BlackBerry valued N40,000 belonging to Hamza Kayode at Oyebanji Junction, Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos.
Ibrahim allegedly carried out the offence on July 9 around 9:30 pm. His accomplice was said to have escaped on the motorcycle.
Ibrahim was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit felony and stealing to which he pleaded not guilty.
Police Prosecutor, Philip Osijale, said the offences were punishable under sections 409 and 285 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.
