Ya waa!.....Lover boy in court for allegedly enticing married woman





The police on Tuesday arraigned one Adesiyan Adebayo, 23, of Dawaki District in Abuja, before the Zone 2 Senior Magistrates' Court, for allegedly
enticing a married woman.
The Police Prosecutor, Mohammed Ahmed, told the court that on February 14, at about 1.57 p.m, one Fatima Ndako of Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja, reported the accused at the Maitama Police Station, Abuja.
Ahmed told the court that the complainant, Ndako, had told the police that the accused who was her ex-boyfriend was still asking her for a relationship. Ahmed added that Ndako had earlier told the accused that she was married but he kept calling and sending text messages to her.
He told the court that the offence of enticing a married woman was contrary to section 389 of the Penal Code. The accused pleaded not guilty.
In his defence, he told the court that he had no idea Ndako was already married and that she had even fixed an appointment for both of them to meet.
Senior Magistrate Vera Tukura granted the accused bail in the sum of N20,000 with a surety in like sum, who must be resident within the jurisdiction of the court.
She adjourned the case to March 13 for further hearing.
