THE INCREASING SPATE OF KIDNAPPINGS WITHIN THE LAGOS METROPOLIS!!

 Fellow Lagosians, an unusual development hitherto unknown has crept into our society. Our always secure Lagos has come under the radar of kidnappers who demand for huge ransom for their victims. While the police and other security agents have spread their dragnets all over the state in a bid to smash the culpable gang, please take the
following precautions;
Be very cautious and ensure you know where you are and where you are going to at all times.
Do not give vital details or personal information to persons not familiar to you.
Where possible, avoid late outings.
Vary your routes to work or regularly visited places.
Do not discuss financial matters in the public.
Always plan meticulously for all your journey and ensure your vehicle is in good working condition.
Do not give ride to strangers.
Move along main roads and avoid lonely roads.
Discourage your children from talking to or receiving gifts from strangers, it is the usual bait for kidnap.
Always let your family members know where you are going and when you are likely to return.
In the case of emergency, call the Lagos State Emergency numbers 767 or 112 or the Police Control Room:
