Gunshots Fired During Jennifer Lopez music video set

Jennifer Lopez was taping an interview for “Entertainment Tonight” on a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., beach Sunday when shots reportedly rang out and she was whisked to safety.

Reporter Rob Marciano, who was conducting the interview, tweeted the
news immediately: “BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away.”

Lopez’s publicist told ABCNews.com that she had just completed a two-day production on a music video and was being interviewed by “ET” at the end of the day when gunshots were overheard.

“The reported shots were on the same beach, but not close to the production location,” the singer’s publicist said.

Fort Lauderdale police, who responded to the scene, said Lopez was on the opposite end of the beach when the shots were fired.
