s.O.s: Help For Baby Sola Fatejo

Sola before and after the accident

Please read and Share...

Remember the 18-months-old OluwaSola the the little baby who lost her  two hands and pretty face by a generator explosion in their Akure home, in  Ondo State?
If Missed the story then click HERE to read.

Now Little Sola Fatejo who was trapped in the inferno is currently battling with health issues due to the pain she sustained during the fire incident and her family is seeking for  N1.8million for her treatment which will include face surgery and hand reconstruction surgery as one of her hands is already amputed. .

Immediately after the accident the little baby was rushed to the Akure Specialist Hospital where she was referred to the Federal Medical Center (FMC),  Owo. But due to the severity of her case her parents were advised  to moved her to the University College Hospital (UCH) for better medical attention.
At the UCH authorities of the hospital were said to have recommended the child for plastic surgery on her face and hands, of which unfortunately one of her hands was amputated.

The Little Sola is sad to be a brilliant child and attends the Leco int'l nursery & primary school in Akure, Ondo.
Since Sola's accident, life has been miserable for her parents whom have spent their saving to make sure Sola live a normal life just like every other kids. Sola still have pains in her hands and face and if urgent medical attention is taken, the little girl life might be ruined for ever.

According to a surgeon  Dr Micheal, of the UCH, said that it will require about N1.8million for this treatment including face surgery and hand reconstruction surgery.

Interesting, During one of Governor Olusegun Mimiko's gubernatorial campaign, late last year, Sola's mother took her to seek assistance from the Ondo state Governor, Olusegun Mimiko. After so much try she was able to meet with the Governor whom after seeing the girl felt pained and promised that he will assist the family for Sola's treatment. Alas! Uptill now the governor has not kept his promise and numerous attempt by Fatejo's to meet with Gov Mimiko has hit brick wall.

Mrs Mercy Fatejo, Sola's mother is asking the general public, NGOs, and the government for help to save her daughter's traumatic life. She said Sola is living a traumatic life and her situation is not what any parents will wish to experience.
