A woman Mrs Amaka Ohanwe, was left partially blind because she allegedly refused to have Šex with a 35-year old man, Arinze Kingsley.
Amaka Ohanwe the mother-of-two was allegedly...beaten up by Kingsley at a beauty salon and her right eye was seriously injured.
After undergoing several operations, the doctors at Apapa General Hospital confirmed that the woman is blind in her right eye and will never be able to see with it again.
After several attempts by Kingsley to sleep with her failed, he became aggressive and when Amaka noticed that, she started avoiding him.
The incident has happened in a beauty salon, at Pen Crescent, Apapa, Lagos, where Amaka went to have her hair done.
Kingsley eventually traced Amaka to the beauty shop, waited for her outside the salon and attacked after she refused his sex advances.
Then he threw her on the floor and started hitting his head on her eyes until she started bleeding.
After the attack Kingsley immediately started his motorcycle and rode off.
The woman was rescued by their neighbours who took her to the hospital.
She alleged that after the attack, Kingsley boasted that nothing would happen to him because he has money to bail himself out of any difficult situation.
When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs O.A Adegbite, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
