TOO SAD! [PHOTO] How Young Naval Officer Mistaken For a Robber Was Beaten and Executed By Mob In Abuja


According to reports making the rounds on the social media, a young naval officer pictured above named Commander Awi Samuel Ugbodi from Oori town of Benue State, has been killed by mob in the federal capital Abuja as he was on his way to Kaduna with his brother.

It was said that the naval officer was mistaken for a robber while with his younger brother while they were on their way to get a fuel for their trip to Kaduna.
According to source, Commander Awi Samuel Ugbodi and his brother was driving to get fuel, as the approached a police check point;  the police on duty asked them to stop because of the robbery going on around the area. It was reported that Commander Awi Samuel Ugbodi ignored and  drove past the police check point. This infuriates and raised suspicion among the people around as the okada men chased after him. On getting to a point they stopped, immediately the angry mob drag him and his brother out of their vehicle beat them up so badly and set them ablaze even before they could explain themselves. Before his death, Commander Awi Samuel Ugbodi was married with a son.

This is a very sad and avoidable death. May his soul rest in perfect peace
