It was a bloody afternoon today in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital as a yet to be identified man was shot around Rumuigbo area in Port Harcourt by unknown gunmen. The victims was killed inside Sobaz Filling Station, at Obi Wali Rd, Rumuigbo in Port Harcourt when the assailants gave a him a pursuit and finally caught up with the deceased inside a filling station where they shot him dead.

It could not be confirmed what led to the killing, but an eye witness said he saw when the assailants who are suspected hired assassins pursued their victim into the Sobaz filling station then suddenly dashed to victims vehicle, pulled out their rifles and started shooting point blank at their target killing him instantly.
 However, residents of the area were seen in groups discussing the development, while some have fled the area in fear of the unknown.
