Chief (Mrs) Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo, the matriach of the Awolowo dynasty, and the wife of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, is dead.
She died at the age of 99. The the matriarch of the Awolowo family died in her.....
sleep in her country home of Ikenne in Ogun state.
One of her daughters, Dr. Tokumbo Awolowo, confirmed her death.
Mrs. Awolowo's grand daughter is the wife of Nigeria's current Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo.
