A girl who escaped from Boko Haram’s captivity has revealed that the abducted Chibok girls are still alive as well as where they are being held.
The Chibok girls are said to have been relocated from Sambisa forest to the Lake Chad area.
She revealed that the Chibok girls are being kept in camps in Kangoora, Mallam Fatori, Damasak, Tunbun Kaka and Tumbum Gira.
The escaped girl, who’s believed to be among the.......
abducted girls, managed to flee from the Boko Haram insurgents and ran into Fulani herdsmen, who assisted her to get to the Baga military base of the multi-national Joint Task Force.
While at the military base, the girl reportedly confessed that many of the Chibok girls were forcefully married to the insurgents.
She added that many of them were also impregnated and infected with different diseases, revealing that she got the Vesicant Virginal Fistula disease from one of the terrorists.
A source, who revealed the girl’s tale further said that the girl was forced to escape to seek medical assistance, after recently giving birth and getting infected with VVF.
The source said: “When the Fulani herdsman saw the girl in the bush and questioned her about her mission, she narrated her experience, which made the herdsman to take her to the soldiers in that area. With her escape, there are now 59 of the girls left in her camp.”
The escaped girl also disclosed to security agencies that Boko Haram terrorists have been weakened and are now moving around from place to place and planting mines and IEDs (improvised explosive devices).
“All of us were forced to become Muslims but kept in camps far from each other. You can only see and recognize those in your camp as any of us who refused being Islamized was either beheaded or shot at point blank range,” the escaped Chibok girl was quoted to have said.
