A bomb exploded at the popular Crystal Lounge in the Wuse II district of
Abuja. According to eyewitnesses, at
about 11pm yesterday, a bomb-laden car parked between the Etisalat office and
another building exploded opposite a popular night club,
Kryxtal Lounge in Wuse 2, Abuja. Another report said that a man entered a crowded food court,
planted the bomb and then ran away while another version said that it was an PHCN Electric transformer that exploded. However, number of Casualties yet unknown but many people sustained various degrees of injury when
they scampered for safety, also so many cars were destroyed in the attack.

Meanwhile Soldiers
cordoned off the area and threatened to shoot–
on-sight whoever tried to
go through the barricade. The security agent also used vehicles belonging to National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and SSS to block the area.
It was also observed that firefighters and ambulances were all part of the rescue team on ground.
