13 persons have been confirmed dead and 6 others rescued after a boat capsized last night in Lagos according to emergency rescue officials.

11 PM and a distress call was sent to the Navy and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) asking for rescue.
NEMA told Channels Television that six people have been rescued from the boat while emergency rescue workers are still trying to save 5 others.
