The Minister of Aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka, has said that Wi-fi services will be made available in all the nation’s airports.
He said this during the inauguration of aviation tele-presence equipment at the ministry in Abuja on Tuesday.
In a statement by the Principal
Information Officer for the ministry, Mr. Iyogun Sunday, Chidoka said,
“Wi-fi services will be inaugurated in Lagos next week to enable.....
passengers to log in with their computers and perform their transactions
easily while in transit at the airports.
“This Wi-fi service will be available
across all the airports of the nation; this would help to bring our
airports services to global standard.”
He added that a robust aviation ministry was being handed over to the incoming administration, which would have to be built on.
The aviation tele-presence equipment is
said to be geared towards improving the correspondences between the
ministry‘s head office and the chief executive officers of parastatals
under the ministry.
