kidnapping crime or the other. There is seeming resurgence of the ugly Otokoto saga in the State. For example in Dec2011 Dr. Amako was kidnapped and immediately after his released he died due to the gun shot wound he sustained on the day he was kidnapped. Another is about the 36-year old Uche Alaribe who was kidnapped by gunmen from his warehouse at Eke-Ukwu Nnorie, Ngor Okpala local council area, while his remains were dumped in a farm at Etche, Rivers State, even after his killers had collected N3 million ransom from the family. Another worrisome dimension is the kidnapping innocent little children in Imo State from some hospitals and maternity homes in some rural communities where the kidnappers are alleged to have used their innocent victims for ritual purpose ascase of mutilated body are frequently discovered in some places within the state.
As armed hoodlums continued to ravage Imo State with impunity despite the spirited efforts of the security agencies to combat the scourge, the ugly story of kidnapping and eventual murder of victims has continued unabated.
May God help the Governor, his State securities, the good people of Imo state and Nigeria at large to fight this ugly monster called kidnapping & Ritual killers. My people at the same time lets us all be security conscious and be careful with the people we hand out with.
Share your thoughts..thanks!
Haha this photo na real Otokoto
ReplyDeleteThe problem of kidnapping and ritual killing is not just only in Imo state but the entire nation. Greed for money and Political power are the two things that push people into this evil act. Cases of people missing is becoming rather normal. The government need to put more effort in curbing this unending ugly trend.
ReplyDeleteI agree with @anna. Most of these ritual killings are perpetuated by these politicians and people in government.
