member of the Grace Tabernacle parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Palmgrove, Lagos, after robbing the victim and his wife who were also in company with five other members of the church, as they were waiting for their pastor to take them to a new parish.
The devilish robbers, who operated on a motorcycle known as 'Okada', shot Nko Ukpong,
after he was asked to lie on the ground with his companions. The ugly incident took place around 7am last Sunday.
Ukpong’s wife was to have gone hysterical when she saw her husband in a pool of his blood, dead.
It was learnt that members of the church
had deposited the body at the morgue of the Lagos State University
Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
The case was reported at the Pedro Police Station, Onipanu. (and as usual the police have commenced investigation, boasting to bring the perpetrators to book).
We sympathize with the family of Late Nko Ukpong, We pray his soul to rest in Peace!
And we pray for God's wrath upon those Robbers and may their death be miserable.
The casdes of srmed robber robbing and shooting their victims is getting out hand these days in Lagos. I am of the opinion to ban okada completed in Lagos state. may the soul of Nko rip.
