Finally 'Haram' Lion killed in Borno state...

The dreaded killer Lion has finally been killed in Borno State. The
Commissioner for Environment, Alhaji Hassan Mustapha said,  “the lion was shot dead in Magumeri area of the state”. The commissioner said the attention of the state government was called by the officials of Yobe state government after the death of two persons. Tt has earlier killed two people. before the BH Lion was gunned down,
He said that the lion later strayed to Magumeri where it was traced and shot dead by a combine team of wildlife officials and the police. He said that approval was given for the killing of the animal by Gov. Kashim Shettima because of the danger it posed to the communities.
