...Comfort before & after the surgery |
This was made possible as result of the generosity of Nigerians. Expressing gratitude to all who in one-way or the other, contributed to make the operation successful, Comfort and her entire family are
grateful to all Nigerians. God will reward all of you in Jesus name, amen.
While thanking Nigerians for the favours already received, Jude the sister to comfort explained that in the course of the surgery, a number of Comfort’s teeth were extracted to ensure the tumor was removed from the source of its growth. To this end. The young girl is to undergo a second surgery. She explains further.
The surgery was done in Mercyship hospital in Serria Leone. When the operation was done, we were told that one year after, she would come for a second surgery. This time, to fill her checks and replace the teeth that were removed during the operation. The one-year is to enable the surgery heal properly and the gum to get stronger. The doctor said they would have to remove some bones from her rib side to construct teeth for her. So we’re looking forward to going beck to the hospital in Serria Leone for the second surgery.
“We are fatherless. Our dad died in an auto crash in December 2009 and our mother is helpless. Because of the loss of her teeth in the course of the surgery, she can only swallow solid food and liquid foods like pap and tea. She can’t chew anything.
So, this is why we have come back to appeal to Nigerians to beg them to once again, come to our aid. They should please assist us to carry out the second surgery. My family cannot handle this. The doctor said the surgery would cost N1.5million. (one million five hundred thousand naira). And this is beyond us. This includes the cost of travel logistics, accommodation and treatment.

UsaveOne- we appeal to kind-hearted Nigerians to come to Comfort's aid. Please lets try to support them in any way we can, there is no amount small. Also for those that made the first surgery successful in one way or the other, we say a big Thanks to you all!
