Woman Police Sergeant Dies After Dry Fasting, Pastor On The Run!

Today is Sunday...my people read...

A retired police sergeant who operated the largest beer  palour in Angwan Doka, in Karu  local government area of Nasarawa State, Mrs. Agatha Oche has reportedly died after
under-going 10 days of dry fasting.
The deceased's younger brother, Sunday Oche told Leadership Sunday that his sister died at the expiration of the 10-day dry fasting which was ordered by a pastor. He pointed out that when family members noticed the deteriorating health condition of Agatha, they persuaded her to eat but she declined,  resulting in her death.

According to the Sunday, “It all started when Agatha noticed a decline in her beer business and decided to visit the said pastor who told her to embark on the fasting. She was told that until she carried out the instruction, her business would crumble and she would die. What made her to believe the pastor , was because the pastor named one of her  business partners with whom she always had quarrel as being responsible for the low sales she was experiencing and that the partner has consulted a witch doctor to kill her”. Upon hearing this, Agatha embarked on the fasting. She refused to eat, she drank only two sachets of pure water before she breath her last.

Although there is no medical report to prove that Agatha actually died as a result of the  fasting, a visit by LEADERSHIP SUNDAY to the pastor’s house and place of worship, revealed that the “man of God” have after all taken to his heels; as worshipers waited for the pastor, who is said to be charismatic, to preside over church programmes in vain.

  5. Education is the only solution to the ignorance in Africa. In 2012 for God's sake, what has dry fasting got to do with the demand for beer and pepper soup in beer parlour?? Is it not obvious that people are afraid of Boko Haram, and so are no longer drinking alcohol in public venues?
