Nice One:- MDAs To Spend N4.9bn On Fuelling Of Generators

Rejoice Nigerians.... The perennial epileptic power supply in the country is to cost the federal government dearly: its ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) hope to spend no less than N4.9 billion on maintenance and fuelling of generating sets in 2012.
This amount
is considered a conservative estimate since only the headquarters of the MDAs were captured in the 2012 Appropriation Act. The 2012 budget as signed by President Goodluck Jonathan indicates a reduced total spending of N4.697 trillion from N4.88 trillion proposed by the National Assembly with the spending plans based on oil price at $72 benchmark. Of the sum of N4.9 billion is budgeted by MDAs for fuel and maintenance of generating sets!  No dulling!
