HardTimes: Total fuel subsidy removal imminent - Labour, SNG

Nigerians brace for impact....!
More than four months after anti-fuel subsidy removal protests paralysed many parts of the country, another
crisis over the deregulation of the oil sector is imminent.
The organised labour said it was aware of the government’s move to remove the fuel subsidy, but warned that it would resist it.
Also, the Save Nigeria Group, which organised a week-long protest against the increase of a litre of petrol from N65 to N144 in January, also said it would not accept the government’s attempt to inflict further suffering on Nigerians. Recently, advertisements on the need for a total deregulation resurfaced in the electronic media.
It was learnt that a senior member of the government, whose office is at the Federal Secretariat, was coordinating the activities of the government groups on fuel subsidy removal.
