Food poison: 36 persons hospitalised in Katsina after eating “tuwon dawa.”

NO fewer than 36 persons in Kafur Local Government area of Katsina State are  in critical conditions and have been hospitalised in Kafur Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Clinic after eating food suspected to contain poison.
 Reports revealed that the affected persons had fallen ill after consuming
maize flower known as “tuwon dawa.” It also revealed that the affected people were from Yar Sharo village in Kafur Local Government Area of the state.

The transition committee chairman of the council, Alhaji Nafiu Garba Kuringafa, during a visit to the victims,  sympathised with them on their conditions and directed the immediate supply of drug to the victims.
