CANAL KNOWLEDGE: Pastor Basil Princewill Allegedly Rape 14-Year-Old Girl In His Church

 

A Pastor, Basil Princewill, was on Friday arraigned before  Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf of the FCT High Court for alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl.
Princewill, the General Overseer of Mountain Movers Fire Ministries International, Nyanya, Abuja,
 was
arraigned on two-count charges of rape.
The pastor was accused of having carnal knowledge of 14-year-old and 15-year-old girls on different occasions in his church office without their consents.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Prosecutor Mitchel Chukwuka urged the court to fix a date for the hearing in view of the plea by the accused.
Baba-Yusuf  granted bail to the accused in the sum of N500, 000 and one surety in like sum and order that the surety must be a civil servant resident within the FCT.
He adjourned the case to Oct. 14, for hearing.
