Black stars captain Asamoah Gyan's mother Cecilia Love Amoako is dead.
driving into a pillar at the Teachers' Hall in Accra.
Madam Cecilia Amoako was rushed to the Ridge Hospital where she died on arrival.
According to an eyewitness account, madam Amoako, a teacher, lost control of the car’s steering wheel which led to her death at the hospital in the west African country’s capital, Accra.
No official word has come from the Al-Ain striker's family, but the remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Ridge Hospital morgue.
