Andre And Jordan Ayew Quit Black Stars...

Olympique Marseille duo of Andre and Jordan Ayew have temporarily withdrawn their services from the Black Stars
France-based Ghana players Andre and Jordan Ayew have temporarily retired from the senior national team the Black Stars, GFA sources have revealed to
Goal.com Ghana.

The two sons of Ghana football legend Abedi Ayew Pele were omitted from coach Kwesi iAppiah’s team that represented Ghana at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Reasons for their decision to quit the national team are not yet known but sources close to the Ghana FA reveal that their decision is due to some differences with FA officials.

The Marseille duo is reported to have written to the Ghana Football Association to notify them of their decision to temporarily quit the Black Stars.

The FA is yet to officially respond to the matter.

When contacted the FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi told Goal.com: "I'm not aware the Ayews have quit. Maybe they have written to the FA that I don't know of."

"I can't comment further until I see any letter to that effect."
