Photo: Mother, baby detained 3 months in hospital for failure to settle N150,000 bill

The photo above show a woman Mrs Ebiere Douglass with her child lying on the three seater chair, there were detained for the past three (3) months since February 5, 2013, in a private clinic and maternity hospital known as  Jola-Oluwa Medical Clinic for failure to settle N150,000 bill which they couldn't pay up the hospital after the lady delivered through a Cesarian operation.
However, a 49-year- old man identified as Pere Douglass, husband to the lady has ran to the police for help over the  treatment meted on his wife at the private clinic where she was delivered of a baby boy through caesarian operation.  She had to remain at the clinic with the baby because I could not pay N150,000 medical bill, Pere said.
The matron and owner of this place, known as Mrs Titilayo Koyejo  said  that the N150,000 is the bills  to settle the doctor that performed the operation and that the couple have to balance her the money.
The founder of the hospital Rev. Dr. Kayode Koyejo, a selfless and nice man,  now late, was the husband to the Matron Mrs Titilayo Koyejo.
