Nigerian R&B duo composed of identical twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, P-Square, and their elder brother Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye on Thursday donated the sum of N5million to ailing Nigerian music producer Babatunde Okungbowa a.k.a. OJB Jezreel, who needs N16million for kidney transplant.
OJB is responsible for producing many artistes’ hit songs especially Tuface’s globally-acclaimed song, African Queen.
Some weeks ago, reports filtered out that OJB Jezreel had been diagnosed of a kidney-related ailment and is reported to be in need of N16 million for a kidney transplant abroad.
On Monday, a team of OJB’s entertainment and media friends visited his home at 4 Gbaja Street in Surulere to personally donate whatever they can and to ensure that he gets back on his feet. They included DJ Jimmy Jatt, Wale Oluwaleyimu, Mr Kool, Nomoreloss, Jesse King, Abounce, Vector, Koopa Victory, Spydaman, Kage, Brain and Semione.
Among those who have earlier contributed are Ruggedman and Wizkid.
