A spiritual leader of a church has been arraigned in an Abeokuta Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly having canal knowledge of a housewife.Olamide Shobowale (46) was accused of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a housewife, Modupe.
The white garment church prophet was said to have told the unsuspecting woman that he had a divine message of good fortune for her, which he said would not come to pass unless she had a bath in a flowing stream.

The court was further told that the randy prophet then accompanied his victim to the stream during which he allegedly raped her in the process of having the bath.
Police prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Paul Etusi who read the one-count charge said the alleged offence was contrary to Section 357 and punishable under Section 358 of the Criminal Code; Volume 1, the Law of Ogun State Nigeria, 2006.
When the charge was read to him, the accused pleaded not guilty.
The case was adjourned till September 16.
