PHOTOs: SUSPECTED ONE CHANCE GANG, TAXI DRIVER ACCOMPLICE BEATEN TO DEATH IN ABUJA

This story and the photos you are about to watch took place last Saturday at Mabuchi, Abuja.

According to report, passersby intercepted one chance gang who were driving recklessly and on a high speed with their victim around the Mabuchi area. On suspecting that the taxi maybe one chance, some group of onlookers gave them a hot chase and rounded them up.

On interrogation, a man who claimed to be the victim narrated how the men inside the taxi highjacked him and demanded for his phone and his bag. The story angered the mob who asked the suspects to alight from the taxi, but which they refused. In the process, the suspects were dragged out of the vehicle and jungle justice follows leading to death of one of the three suspects.

However, during the melee, a security officer appeared on the scene, kept the suspects under his custody; and called for backup. As he was waiting for his colleagues, the mob thinking that justice won't be achieved ran out of patience, over powered the security officer and rushed toward the suspects pushed them down from the fly-over bridge; as if it was not enough, the mob descended down on them (suspects) heavily with various weapon they could lay their hands on killing one of the suspects on the spot.
