News of his passage was relayed by one of his children, Moyo who wrote on her social media page www.facebook.com wall that her father had died of undisclosed cause.
However facts have emerged on the
circumstances that heralded his death on Friday, February 14, 2014. The veteran broadcaster whose voice resonates and attracts
a-wide-range of listening audience in the 70s-80s on Nigeria Television
Authority (NTA), among other electronic media and who was also an award-winning sportsman died after suffering stroke for the third time within about three years.
It will be recalled that not so long ago his family came out to beg for financial assistance when he had his third stroke but unfortunately non came. Sad he is dead, we pray his soul rest in peace!
