The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Chris Anyanwu, while parading the suspect before journalists in Abakaliki said the action might not be unconnected with ritual killing, noting that the suspect was still undergoing interrogation to ascertain the reason behind his actions. But the suspect, in an interview said he committed the act but blamed his action on a voice that directed him to go home and kill his father.
