#EviLs: Native doctor gives 2 men acid to drink after receiving N22 million

A native doctor in Lagos has been arrested and charged after reports that he defrauded 2 men in the Lekki area of the state.
45-year-old Jamiu Alao is said to have.....
fraudulently obtained N22.1 million from the men after he promised them spiritual protection but gave them acid to drink in the guise of a potent potion.
Alao, a resident of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun is also facing charges of conspiracy and obtaining money under false pretences.

According to source, the complainants had to travel abroad to seek urgent medical attention for internal injuries they received. The Magistrate, Mrs O. Olanipekun, granted the native doctor bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

The case was adjourned to June 30 for mention.
