#SAD! Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta representing Niger East Senatorial District is Dead

Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta representing Niger East Senatorial District is dead. He died at the age of 65. Late Senator Kuta was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He died in the
Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in the early hours, today.
He was born on 16 April, 1949 and was elected Senator for the Niger East constituency of Niger State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007.

Kuta won the 2007 PDP primary election for Niger East, defeating his brother, Ibrahim Kuta. He went on to win the Senatorial election in April 2007.
