Some photos have emerged showing the Newly renovated Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu been flooded after a down pour. According to source, some of the flights that tried landing was asked to turn back or to land in the nearest state. A witness simply identified himself as Edu, who earlier flew in with one of the local airlines from Lagos stated that the dangers or risk such poses to the airport can not be imagined if allowed to happen; emphasizing that the sight of water flooding everywhere in and around the airport was disturbing and a disaster waiting to happen if nothing is done to curb it.
