GRAPHIC PHOTOS: Bomb Blast Rocks Central Mosque In Kano

Scores of people are feared dead in an explosion at the Kano Central Mosque on Friday during the Friday prayers. The bomb blast was said to have occurred around 2.30pm, near the Emir of Kano’s palace. Although information is sketchy at the moment, a spokesman for the Joint Task Force, Captain Ikechukwu Eze, confirmed the explosion.

According to eye witness, two cars exploded on a nearby road while jumaat prayer was about to begin on Friday.“The vehicles were parked along the road very close to Qadriya House which is opposite the mosque. People died but I don’t know how many,” the eyewitness said.
