THERE was panic and anxiety in Port
Harcourt on Monday following the announcement of an imposition of curfew
in the state by the Rivers State Government.
The Secretary to the Government, Mr.
George Feyii, who made the announcement said that the curfew would be
effective from 7pm to 6am.
Feyii pointed out that the curfew would
continue until.....
further notice, adding that the aim was to protect lives
and property of law abiding citizens.
Motorists and passersby, who got wind of
the announcement late, rushed home just as residents looking for petrol
to fuel their generators had to shelve the idea and went back home with
their empty cans.
Share your thoughts....thanks!
