The governorship election of Imo state has been declared inconclusive.

The reason given by the INEC Returning Officer for the governorship election in the state, Prof Ibidapo Obe stated that he.....
detected electoral malpractices in some local government areas.
Consequently, he was compelled to declare it inconclusive.
As at las count, below is the summary of  the results:
APC: 385,671
PDP: 306,142
Margin of win: 79,529
Cancelled Votes: 144,715
Verdict: Election is Inconclusive
