Three days after his wife moved into Aso Rock Villa, the official residence of the President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has also moved in, according to an aide.

Since his inauguration on May 29, 2015, President Buhari had stayed at the Defense House in Abuja. The president's decision to operate out of the Defense House was to enable renovations to be completed at the Aso Rock Villa.
