Some robbers have raided a Lagos hospital on Santa Maria Street, in the Egan, Igando area of Lagos State. It was learnt that after carting away valuables of patients, they also.... raped an 18-year-old auxiliary nurse in the hospital. The ugly incident happened around 4am on Thursday.

hospital around 3am, scaling the fence before gaining entrance. They also reportedly overpowered a
19-year old security guard in the hospital and tied him with ropes
before locking him up in a room.
A source said the worker on night duty
were attacked and injured and when the robbers failed to make
appreciable looting, they resorted to raping the auxiliary nurse in
turns.
The 18-yr-old raped victim accused the management of the hospital of dereliction of duty and said she was raped by the men. She also alleged that the owner of the
hospital did not provide adequate security for his workers of which has subjected
her to mental torture by losing her virginity through rape.
But according to the hospital’s medical director, Dr. Ademola Dominic, confirmed the
incident to our correspondent, but said the victim was not raped. He said, “When the incident happened, we took her
through some tests and discovered she was intact. She is still a virgin
and nothing happened to her. It is just that as a young girl, she
suffered some shocks and that is all.“But if you heard she was
raped, well, maybe she was a victim of circumstances and that obviously
was not my fault.”
