A former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Haladu Hananiya, is in hot water, over the alleged N150,000 purchase of a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser jeep worth N13 million.
Hananiya is accused of using his position as former Chairman, Governing Council of the Adamawa State University, to convert the vehicle to his personal property.
According to Premium Times reports, the vehicle had been reportedly......
bought by the university on January 28, 2015, months after the former FRSC boss was no longer the chairman of the institution’s board.
However, about 7 days later, Hananiya bought the car as scrap, making a N150,000 payment for it.
A certain Luka Ibrahim Monduva, who was privy to the underhand dealing, wrote a public petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
