A Hollywood stuntman was found dead in his New Orleans, Louisiana hotel room.

Veteran stuntman Shawn Robinson, 41, who has worked on Captain America and Transformers, was found dead after he failed to report to work in NOLA on the movie Deepwater Horizon, directed by Peter Berg.

Coworkers became concerned when he failed to.....
show up for work on July 28 and a fellow stuntman went to his hotel to check on him, reported The Toronto Sun.

The coroner's office is currently conducting toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.

Deepwater Horizon is about an oil rig that blew up and sank in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, killing ten men and causing one of the worst environmental disasters in U.S. history.

The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Kate Hudson, Dylan O'Brien, John Malkovich and Gina Rodriguez.

Robinson's brother, Troy, is Vin Diesel's stunt double.

Shawn is also the son of legendary stuntman Dar Robinson, who motorcycle went off a cliff while he was filming a chase scene for Million Dollar Mystery, killing him.

Director Richard Donner dedicated the 1987 film Lethal Weapon to him.
