#CORRUPTION: Another Corruption charge slammed against Senate President, Bukola Saraki Over False Declaration Of Assets

A 13-count charge of corruption has been filed against Senate President, Bukola Saraki, by the Code of Conduct Bureau.
Saraki has been accused of making false declaration of assets in forms he filed before the Code of Conduct Bureau while he was the governor of Kwara state.
The Senate President is also accused of not declaring some assets he acquired while in office as governor.
Other offences listed in the charge sheet includes acquisition of assets beyond his legitimate earnings as well as operating foreign accounts while being a public officer.
The Senate President was also accused of anticipatory looting, which is the declaration of a property (assets) that had not yet been sold to him.
Saraki’s alleged offences violate sections of the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, and he also breached Section 2 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act.
