A Lagos-based children’s home, Compassionate Orphanage, has appealed to the public for information that would help to locate an 18-year-old girl, Aminat Oyediji, who went missing while under its care in 2014.
According to the Project Manager of the orphanage, Ms. Patricia Muzan, Aminat left its premises at Greenland Estate, around Idowu-Egba Bus Stop, Isheri-Olofin, Lagos for school on March 12, 2014 in company with other girls but never returned.
After a frantic effort to locate the girl when she did not return home after school closing hours, Founder of the orphanage, Reverend Gabriel Oyediji reported her missing at the Idimu Police Division.
A police report on the case indicated an investigation was carried out on the missing girl.

“The Lagos Child Rights Law stipulates that no child should be in custody of an orphanage without the custodial backing of the family court so a file was opened on her case there.”

The orphanage has appealed to the public for any information that may help it locate the girl.
The orphanage can be reached on 08020555515. Members of the public can also approach the nearest police station to give any useful information on her whereabouts.

Share your thoughts.....thanks!
