Armed robbers on Thursday morning attacked five banks within Agbara Industrial Estate, Ogun state.

The robbers dressed in military camouflage reportedly started the operation a few minutes after the bank opened their doors for customers.

They allegedly opened fire at some policemen attached to an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) along the main entrance to the area.

Some of the robbers reportedly blew up the ATM machines located at the banks and carted away cash stacked inside.

Many people were injured form the attack.
