dangers of seductive dressing...warning!

 

This is dangerous but
we somehow chose to overlook it in the name of fashion. Yes it is dangerous when girls often dress in ways which often creates havoc for men. The battle over what clothing is and is not acceptable for Chicks girls often begins early in adolescence, with parents favoring modesty and girls favoring more adult dress.

Aight! but even the new generation mothers are also culprits for some of them love putting on seductive dresses as they  go for their 'Owambe' parties. However Parents need to be aware that their teenagers daughters peer groups is of paramount importance. The values of a teen's friends will be reflected in the teen's behavior, and this appears to include dressing and fashion.
Seductive dressing among Girls' may also lead to problems such as rumor mongering, assumed sexual permission and a higher incidence of date rape dangers. Dressing too unlike their peer group, however, can cause problems for adolescent girls including depression, dropping grades and even problems at home.

Warning!
At the same time Babes girls are using fashion as a factor in their peer groups acceptance, Guys boys are going through strong hormone drives toward becoming sexually active. Boys also have strong needs to be accepted by their peer group. One of the main issues in gauging popularity for boys is the expressed success in sexual overtures.
This suggests while girls are dressing simply to fit in, they are also opening themselves up to boys' drive toward rape sexual conquest. Boys are more likely to judge teenage girls who dress provocatively as being interested in raping sexual activity.
Remedy!
Parents of teenage daughters need to continue to be aware of their power over their teen and to use it wisely. Approaching the issue of fashion and dress, parents should focus on educating their teen about the dangers of wearing inappropriate clothing.

One principle needing to stand hard and fast is the concept of permission from parents. Parents should make checking their teens' clothing choices and giving a yes or no a part of the daily routine.
Some things to consider when facing a teenage daughter's desire to wear more adult clothing include the following:

• Would this outfit be offensive if it were being worn by another person the same age as the daughter?
• Is the choice appropriate for age level?
• Have changes been made gradually?
• Is the choice of dress overtly sexual?
• Where will this outfit be worn? At school? On a date?
• Has the daughter made an educated choice for the clothing?

The reason for this message is to help curb the menace of  rape, rape, rape and rape in our society! Yes to help reduce the case of a 72 year old man raping a 15year old girl, etc! Owwww! Thats too sad!
