Cruel! Mother Abandoned Baby In Church, Ran away.

The Enugu State Police Command has commenced investigation to trace the mother of a one-year-old
baby abandoned in a church.
A statement by the Command’s spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, in Enugu on Friday indicated that the baby was abandoned by the mother, who came to worship at a church situated at No. 8 Umuniabor Street, Garki Awkunanaw in Enugu.
The statement indicated that the mother abandoned the baby after pretending that she was going out to ease herself.
It stated that the baby had been handed over to the motherless babies’ home of the Holy Ghost Cathedral, and assured that the police was taking necessary steps to establish the identity of the woman.
