A suicide bomber on Sunday morning attacked Harvest Church in Tudun Yelwa in Bauchi State, killing 10 persons. Reports said the bomber drove a Honda car into the church, sandwiched between Deeper Life Bible Church and Living Faith Church, and detonated a bomb, killing himself and
guards at the church.
Rescue officers and security agents swiftly rushed to the scene and took the injured to nearby hospitals.
Other churches in the area hurriedly ended their services and dispersed.
There has been a lull in bombings in northern cities, regularly claimed by the Boko Haram sect.
