Don’t commit suicide, Jonathan tells flood victims

PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday urged victims of the devastating floods in Kogi State not to commit suicide, saying the
Federal Government will support them.
He also promised to build more dams across the country to forestall a recurrence of flooding.
While advising the victims not to commit suicide, the President promised that the Federal Government would within its available resources provide them with the needed assistance.
The visit, he said, was to deliver the Federal Government’s message of sympathy to the victims.
